A successful candidate will possess an educational and professional background that equips them to lead design studios, teach assigned lecture courses, and provide ongoing curriculum development at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This person supports the efforts of the Doctor of Ministry program by working directly with participants and advisors to improve the writing quality of professional dissertations. The primary focus of this person’s responsibility is the success of DMin participants in their projects. This person interprets, applies, and recommends policy changes to and/or with the DMin director, and assists participants. 

A doctoral degree is required (PhD or DMin) from an accredited institution and 5-10 years of work experience in ministry and theological education. Experience in research and academic writing is required. Since the work includes dealing with ministers in the field, pastoral experience is required and highly valuable. 

Teach graduate courses in school psychology, advise school psychology students, serve on dissertation committees, serve on departmental and university committees, maintain an active research agenda as documented through publications and presentations, and provide service to the university and community.

Oversees all aspects of the PhD Counseling Psychology and MA Counselor Education students’ clinical training experiences for the GPC department.  Help in coordinating departmental efforts in establishing training sites for MA student placement and works with APPIC as the Director of Training for the doctoral Counseling Psychology program to facilitate student internship placements.   The coordinator collaborates with the Andrews Community Counseling Center Director as well as other faculty in constructing student application guidelines and procedures for counseling students. The coordinator will have both administrative and teaching duties. 

• Candidates are required to have a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology preferably with a State licensure as a Counselor (LPC)
• EPPP licensure required.

Must demonstrate successful experience and proven leadership in schools, preferably at the administrative level. Show evidence of effective teaching, preferably K-12 and higher education.

This position will teach graduate-level courses related to Leadership (hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous online courses), as well as guide Leadership student portfolios and advise Leadership students on coursework and research.

Candidate must have an earned doctorate in Leadership or a related discipline from an accredited and recognized institution.

The School of Business Administration is seeking an Accounting Professor who is committed to excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students for careers in accounting, auditing and other related fields. This is a fulltime appointment with faculty teaching 3 to 4 courses per semester. Faculty are expected to maintain a regular on-campus presence for teaching, office hours, meetings and engagement activities. 

PhD in Accounting or related discipline with min of 15 graduate credits in accounting.

Minimum - relevant work experience in accounting/auditing/related field or teaching accounting.

Preferred – Professional certification (eg. CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA or equivalent).

The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator will oversee and manage the capstone project for the OTD program. The DCC reports to the Program Director and will teach capstone courses, secure capstone sites, support the development of capstone mentors, and monitor students' progress throughout the capstone process, ensuring alignment with the academic program’s curricular design. The DCC will also ensure the OTD program's compliance with ACOTE capstone requirements. The DCC will work closely with the AFWC and other faculty members. This position requires frequent travel to various doctoral capstone experiential sites, so the ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel. 

The ideal candidate must possess a post-professional doctoral degree (OTD, PhD, DHSc, etc.) from a USDE accredited institution and be registered with NBCOT/AOTA. Additionally, they must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in Michigan, with at least three years of clinical experience. The doctoral degree may be in occupational therapy or a related field. The ideal applicant should have DCC experience .

Assistant Professor to teach, advise, supervise field experience  and direct student projects.

Expertise in teaching math, and/or science is desired.  Position may require teaching in any /or all semesters including summers. Person chosen for this position is expected to be involved in research as well as teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate student teachers.  A wide variety of responsibilities are expected including accreditation and assessment as required by the university and outside accrediting bodies. Teaching areas are flexible as department needs dictate.

The School of Social Work at Andrews University is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Social Work beginning July 1, 2025. Interest in BSW Program Director position is highly desirable. Teaching areas may include Introduction to Social Work, Social Welfare, Foundations of Practice, and Social Policy.  Background in clinical settings is desirable.  Other responsibilities include academic advising, recruiting and service to the department, University, and the surrounding community. The Visual Art, Communication & Design programs seek an assistant or associate professor of digital communication with qualifications for teaching entry-level communication courses, media relations, public relations, event/campaign management, social media, crisis communication and AI/Ethics.  Professional experience that blends the relationship between communication studies, public relations, social media, and client-relations is strongly preferred. Experience in church corporate communication at the Division, Union or local Conference level is desired.  In addition to teaching, this position advises students in course selection and major projects.

• Master’s degree in communication or related discipline; terminal degree preferred.
