Her sermon is titled "God's Grace in Unlikely Places." Multiple passages in the Bible seem to be opposite to God's grace, and yet even there, God's grace can be seen! This is something to be extra thankful for on this Thanksgiving Sabbath. No decrees, no events, no people or music should be building a wall between our Savior and our hearts. We have to pay the price for our faithfulness to our God, but paying the price for not being faithful is much more expensive. Hannahiah, Mishael and Azariah knew that well and made their choice: if they stayed faithful to God, the worst outcome was losing their own lives. But if they did not stay faithful to their God, the price was losing eternal life. They made their choice back then; we are to make ours today.
